The Society of Sin presents a night of Star Wars inspired striptease
NEW ORLEANS, Dec. 4, 2018 – For one night only, New Orleans-based burlesque and variety troupe The Society of Sin will invite Jedi Knights and Sith Lords alike to enjoy an evening of burlesque brought from a galaxy far, far away.
“The Mos Eisley Cantina Cabaret: A Star Wars Burlesque Show” will run on Sunday, Dec. 9, at The Theater at Harrah's Casino New Orleans (8 Canal St.). Fit for members of the Rebel Alliance, the revue will hold two showings— one at 7 p.m. (doors at 6:30 p.m.) and the other at 11 p.m. (doors at 10:30 p.m.).
Inspired by the beloved sci-fi saga, the show will feature appearances from iconic characters, like Darth Vader and Princess Leia, as well as modern fan favorites, like Rey and Kylo Ren.
“Star Wars is always one of the most fun shows that we do because of the passion of the cast and crew as well as the numerous fans who turn up for the show,” said Xena Zeit-Geist, the troupe’s founder and artistic director.
Featuring a special appearance by Takillya Sunrise, producer of Camellia Bay Burlesque, “The Mos Eisley Cantina Cabaret” will present performances from Lune Noirr, Chère Noble, Expecta Patrone, Phoenix Rose, Dick Jones, Angie Z, Remy Dee, Anjle and Xena Zeit-Geist.
On sale now, general admission tickets are $10 in advance or $15 at the door. In addition to private booth and deluxe seating options, VIP tickets are also available for $32 in advance or $40 at the door. VIP and booth ticket holders will receive a complimentary poster during the event.
